What is Anything Goes?

Founded in 1993, Anything Goes is Cornell's original and oldest musical theatre troupe. AG is a tight-knit group of students dedicated to performing songs from Broadway shows and various other genres. We revel in providing entertainment for the Cornell community, and beyond, through our energetic song and dance. We are entirely self-run, with all members - from our musical director to our choreographer to our accompanists - currently working hard as full-time Cornell students. We may have started small, but AG has enjoyed a recent surge in popularity, and we now perform at an extensive list of on-campus events, including Cornell Night, Big Red Relief, Relay for Life, and more. Each fall and spring culminates in our own big show, a musical revue featuring AG members performing anything from solos and duets to full-ensemble tap numbers!

AG serves not only as the perfect outlet for anyone interested in musical theatre, vocal performance, or dance, but also as an incredible bonding experience for our members. Through AG we have not just harnessed our creativity and talent, but also developed friendships that will last a lifetime. We are a fun-loving group that thrives on spending time with each other and loves to please any audience. So sit back, enjoy the show, and let us entertain you!
